What E010 Means
E010 on a Bosch range is a data memory failure in the user interface: either the routine check of stored content failed or a write to it did not complete. All heating elements are disabled while the fault is active, and Bosch records that it is cancelled at start-up. The memory concerned holds settings and calibration rather than the operating program.

- Write interrupted by a supply interruption
- Failing memory device on the interface board
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Power the range down at the breaker for two minutes, then check whether the clock and any oven temperature offset survived. Settings that have gone back to factory defaults confirm the memory really lost its contents.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- This code and the control module version look identical from the front but need different parts, so guessing has an even chance of being wrong.
- On a gas model the fascia work sits directly over the burner valves; shut the appliance gas valve before anything is disturbed there.
- With heating disabled there is no way to test the repair before it is finished.
- Boards damaged by static on the bench fail in ways that look exactly like the original fault.
