What Er:15 Means
Er:15 on a Bosch Nexxt front-load washer means the pressure sensor is returning a voltage the control recognises as invalid. That sensor is how the machine knows how much water is in the drum, reading the pressure in a small air tube that runs from the tub to the sensor. Bosch names the sensor or its wire harness as the cause.

- Pressure sensor failed
- Wire harness to the sensor faulty
- Air tube to the sensor blocked, split or detached
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
There is no home measurement, but note whether the machine has been over- or under-filling, or refusing to spin. All three follow from a water level the control cannot read, and the pattern is useful to report.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The sensor and its air tube sit at the top of the cabinet under the worktop, where the tube can be knocked off without being seen.
- A tube that has filled with water or detergent residue gives a wrong reading with a perfectly good sensor on the end of it.
- Bosch's test programme drives the pressure system with the machine running, which means working around a filling drum.
- Replacing the sensor when the harness or the tube was at fault leaves the same code with a new part fitted.
