What E314 Means
E314 is the fault reserved for the Cancel or Off key. Because that key is how anyone stops the oven, the control treats a failure there differently from any other stuck key: operation is stopped outright, and Bosch states the error is cancelled only by a system reset rather than clearing when the key releases. The two suggested checks are the touch pad assembly and the user interface board behind it.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Clean the control panel and dry it thoroughly, then reset at the breaker for two minutes. If the code returns without anything touching the panel, the key or the board behind it has failed rather than being contaminated.
