What E000 Means
E000 means the control module and the user interface are not talking about the same oven. Bosch stores an option code in the control that tells it which cavity type and configuration it is fitted to, and when that code does not match what the interface expects, the manual states plainly that no operation is possible. The documented fix is to enter the correct option code through service mode rather than to replace anything.

- Replacement board supplied with the wrong default configuration

Try a full power reset at the breaker for two minutes first, since that clears the transient version of this. If the oven comes back with E000 still showing, the option code needs setting and that is done in a service menu with a model-specific value.

- The option code is a model-specific number, and entering the wrong one leaves an oven that runs but heats to the wrong profile.
- Bosch's own suggested action is a service-mode procedure, which is not the same as the user settings menu and is not documented in the owner's book.
- This code very often follows a board replacement, so it usually appears when someone has already been inside the oven once.
- An oven that will not operate at all gives no way to verify a setting change by running a test bake, which is how wrong option codes go unnoticed.
