Bosch has retired the SGE78C55UC, a recessed-handle ADA-height 800 Series machine at 42 dBA with 15 place settings and CrystalDry. Retired ADA-height models are worth repairing rather than replacing more often than standard machines are, for a simple reason: the opening they sit in was built for a lower counter, and a standard-height replacement will not go into it without the countertop being altered. That changes the economics of a repair completely.
