Ascenta was Bosch’s value line in the US, and the SHE3AR75UC is one of the machines that carried the badge: 50 dBA, 14 place settings, stainless front, PureDry drying, and no Wi-Fi anywhere on it. Ascenta machines are a big share of the older Bosch dishwashers still in daily use, and the single most useful thing to know about them is that they use the same stainless tub, the same filter design and the same circulation-pump-with-integral-heater as the expensive ones. A well-maintained Ascenta will outlast a neglected 800 Series.
