What E305 Means
E305 is the touch control module's own communication failure. Where the related E005 covers the link between the user interface and the control module, E305 specifically covers the touch control module losing contact with either the control module or the user interface. Bosch's actions are the same in both cases: look for cut or pinched wires and loose connectors, and confirm voltage is arriving at the correct pins.

- Supply voltage not reaching the correct pins on one board
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
A breaker reset for two minutes is worth one attempt, because a communication drop caused by a surge can clear at start-up. If it returns straight away, the fault is physical and the wiring needs looking at.
