The TPU40109 is a 500 Series VeroCafe in piano black, with a drink list covering americano, cappuccino, espresso, flat white, milk foam, hot water and coffee, but no Home Connect. The 500 Series uses the same brew unit architecture as the 800 – a removable brewing group that the owner can take out and rinse – which is the single most important thing about any bean-to-cup machine’s serviceability. Machines with sealed brew units cannot be maintained by their owners at all.
