E:15 is the heating circuit fault. Bosch's table gives the cause as a damaged heater or heater control and the remedy as checking the heating circuit and the bimetal, which is the thermal safety switch that cuts the heater when it gets too hot. A dryer with this code will usually still tumble, so the symptom people notice is a machine that runs a full cycle and leaves the load cold and damp.
