What E:07 Means
On Bosch models fitted with zeolite drying, a small fan pushes air through the mineral container so the heat it gives off reaches the dishes. E:07 is logged when the control cannot confirm that fan is turning. Bosch's action for this row is short: test the fan and its harness, replace whichever has failed. Washing is unaffected, but the drying result will drop noticeably.

- Zeolite drying fan motor seized or burned out
- Fan harness loose or broken where it leaves the side channel
- Debris in the drying air path stalling the fan
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Run a programme with drying selected and listen near the end for the fan; a silent drying phase where you used to hear airflow supports the code. Do not pull the side panel to look for the fan, which is a technician access.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The fan sits in the drying duct on the side of the tub, reached by removing the outer panel of a machine bolted into the cabinet run.
- Its harness shares a loom with heating components, so an incorrect reconnection swaps a drying complaint for a heating fault.
- A stalled fan and an open harness read identically from the display, and only one of them is fixed by a new fan.
- Side panel access on a dishwasher still within its coverage window may affect what the manufacturer will honour later, so check your terms first.
